About Meg Kokovai, LMT

Trigger Point Yin is a product of Meg’s training in yoga and Shamatha meditation, her study of anatomy and massage, and her devotion to being a healer.

What is Trigger Point Yin?

A combination of two disciplines, Trigger Point Yin uses the mindfulness training of breath-work to help you relax into supported passive stretches and trigger point exercises.

  • "Meg's TPY classes are just what I need to counterbalance this fast paced life. It's so nice to have a space to slow down, breathe and listen to my body. Trigger point exercises help me reach my yoga 'edge' in a new way and Meg is always there to help guide and adjust. I literally crave these classes!"

    – Claire, therapist / yogi

  • As an avid runner, climber, cyclist and functional fitness advocate, trigger point yin is a game changer. Meg is an incredible instructor who helps you improve your mind-body connectonand cultivate that deeper understanding, each class. While there are immediate physical benefits such as the 'realease' and increased mobility, the mental gainsare equally impressive. Meg often uses block breathing that helps you feel, process and digest the sensation that is trigger point. This was new to me before taking this class but is a method I can use in various aspects of my life, including reducing stress. I reccomend TPY to all my friends at various fitness levels.
